The time: 1948, the place: Atlanta, Georgia. Daisy Werthan, age 72, has crashed her car again, and her son, Boolie hires Hoke Coleburn, a black man of around 60 to drive “Miss Daisy”. Over the next 25 years, as they change and the world changes around them, they form an unlikely bond.
