We will begin by reading an Appalachian folk tale, Pig Tale, with illustrations for the example crankie, along with a performance of the traditional song, Pig in a Pen to accompany the finished crankie show. Participants will have the option to illustrate this story, or any other, for their own crankie.

This program will be held Tuesday, August 6th, at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Avenue). No registration is required.
