Discover the power of devised theatre — a collaborative, actor-driven approach to creating original performance. In this six-week Saturday course, you’ll learn how to build theatre from the ground up using improvisation, physical exploration, storytelling, and ensemble techniques. No prior experience with devising is needed: you’ll gain practical acting skills such as presence, imagination, adaptability, and embodied expression while contributing to the creation of a brand-new piece. The course culminates in a final showing of the work developed together, giving you hands-on experience in the creative process from first spark to performance.
