Line Up For Liam Blood Drive

Join Kentucky Blood Center at the Pikeville Donor Center for the Line Up For Liam Blood Drive, Sept. 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Liam, a young boy from Pikeville, Kentucky, was diagnosed in 2022 with a medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor that starts in the cerebellum. Liam received blood transfusions to aid with his chemotherapy treatments.
September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. To bring awareness to the importance and availability of blood in the fight against cancer, and to help children like Liam, the Webbs and Kentucky Blood Center are encouraging donors to visit the KBC Pikeville Donor Center Sept. 23-27 to donate blood. All donors will receive a KBC ‘Fight Cancer’ shirt.
