Kentucky Shakespeare will visit the library to bring key events from United States history to life, focusing on our rights and responsibilities as a democratic society today.
This 50-minute performance covers the Road to Revolutionary War, Formation of a New Government, Westward Expansion, Social Reforms, Abolition, Civil War, Amendments 13-15, Progressive Movement, WWII, The Red Scare, Civil Rights Movement, Social Media and First Amendment Rights. Suggested for ages 9-adult.
This program will be held at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Avenue) on July 3rd at 4:30. No registration is required.
