In this workshop, participants will examine poetry’s power to honor and celebrate lived experiences; the camaraderie often found in shared spaces of history will be noted.
Through prompts and readings, participants will feast “on beauty” and create pieces of their own.
This program will be held at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Ave) on Thursday, April 25 at 5:30. It will be led by Big Sandy Community and Technical College English professor Dr. Mary Ruth Wallen.
