Players act as a group of adventurers working together to complete quests\, slay monsters\, and achieve their own personal goals. The game uses a series of dice to help simulate how successful characters and monsters are at achieving their various goals.

DESCRIPTION:Story Time is for children ages 5 and under and features books\, action/movement\, songs\, and a craft. Story Time is held Thursdays at 11:00 and 2:00 and Saturdays at 11:00. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBesides being fun\, Story Time also helps develop early literacy and school readiness skills through reading\, singing\, listening\, playing\, and social interaction. This program lasts approximately 30 minutes\, and caregivers and children are encouraged to linger in the library afterwards to further socialize and choose books to take home. \n  \nStory Time begins the first week of September and ends the first week of May.

Better yet\, want to be the one who makes it? \nJoin instructor Mark Hatfield for a dynamic\, one-day workshop where we will discard the script and create a completely new performance from scratch. \nWhat is devising? It’s the art of group storytelling. We start with nothing but a room full of people and a few ideas. Through games\, collaborative improvisations\, shared stories\, embodied poetics\, and the magic of theatre\, we’ll craft an original one-act play by the end of the afternoon. \nNo Experience Necessary! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have never stepped foot on a stage\, your voice belongs here. \nThe show must go on! After a day of creation\, we’ll open the doors at 7:30 PM for a free public performance of the work you helped create.
