Octavia’s brief marriage to prominent Pikeville businessman James Hatcher ended suddenly when she suffered an unknown illness that resulted in her being buried alive. This original\, tragic story of her life and death is a chilling account which may explain why many say her spirit walks the graveyard to this day.
