Over the course of ten days\, you learn fundamental techniques\, safety protocols\, and active storytelling. Through a combination of theory\, demonstration\, and practical exercises\, you will develop the skills necessary to perform safe\, effective\, and efficient stories with (staged) violence. At the end of the course\, there will be a Skills Test/General Sharing of combat/scenes for the community. Completion of this course and filming of Skills Test Fight will be submitted to Dueling Arts International for adjudication and certification.

On December 18th\, these schools are coming together for a one-night-only\, round-robin competition for the title of East Kentucky Improv Champions. Who will take home the trophy? DESCRIPTION:Brad Mullins is an artist and studio owner in Carmi\, IL. Brad became a CRI\, or Certified Ross Instructor\, by taking a series of required classes at Bob Ross Incorporated\, which now enables him to teach others how Bob Ross’ favored landscape methods were used to create his beautiful works of art. The classes he teaches are designed for painters of any skill level and expertise using only Bob Ross supplies\, (all provided). Brad not only provides these opportunities at his studio monthly but also works with many organizations throughout Illinois and Indiana. Currently\, his classes are offered at several local colleges\, library’s\, art organizations\, and even as Paint and Sip events at area restaurants. He has been featured in articles in his local newspaper and on Talk of the Town\, which is a radio broadcast in Carmi\, IL. His work has been well received as he continues to honor Bob’s legacy by spreading the joy of painting across the Midwest\, and beyond. \nNon alcoholic refreshments\, wine and charcuterie will be served.
