Shannon is teaching a puppet making workshop! \nWhat you’ll learn: How to create something from a sewing pattern\, 2 basic hand stitches\, the magic effects that a pair of googly eyes can have on a piece of fabric\, oh yes\, and how to make this adorable puppet! No experience necessary\, just a willingness to learn and have fun! Adults are welcome to accompany their child to help them create their creature\, or sign up for the class and make a puppet of their own! This workshop is great for ages 10-110! All supplies will be provided and at the end\, you get to take home your puppet. \nShannon Daniels is honored to serve as the Executive Director of The Appalachian Center for the Arts. She has also been a props designer for almost 20 years. One of her favorite things to make for the stage is puppets. And now she’d like to share that joy with you!
