DESCRIPTION:Once upon a time\, in a far away swamp\, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day\, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad\, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad\, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona\, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad\, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. \nRegistration: $265 – Ages 12–18\nDates: July 21st – Aug 1st\, 2025\nMeets: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM\nPerformances: Aug 1st @ 7:30 pm and Aug 2nd @3:00pm and 7:00pm \nStudents are required to be present for the full camp and each show \nNo student is ever turned away due to financial hardship. Being well versed in ballroom\, country\, and swing\, He’s won one World Championship in Stockholm\, Sweden and a National Championship in Las Vegas\, Nevada\, with partner Jessica Bryant\, and two National Championships in ballroom dancing with partner Mary McGuire.\nLocally\, Mickey has been the director and producer of Dancing for Shelter at the Mountain Arts Center for seven years; a dance competition that raises funds for the local homeless shelter. You can also catch him on stage at the Mac every year in the role of Drosselmeyer in the Dance Etc. Nutcracker .
