DESCRIPTION:Magician/autistic self-advocate Cody Clark knows first-hand how sensory sensitivities can get in the way of enjoying a program. He’s taken this expertise and is using it to share a new kind of magic show. He’s removed the loud noises\, eliminated the bright lights\, and encourages everyone to express their reactions to the magic in whichever ways come most naturally to them! Whether they’re able to directly participate in the magic or just wave their hands to make the magic happen\, everyone will feel empowered exactly as they are and enjoy the show just as they are.\nThe Sensory Friendly Magic Show will be held at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Avenue) on April 4 at 5:30. It is free to attend and no registration is required.
