DESCRIPTION:Program Summary\n\n\n\n\n\nNamed in honor of the leadership that Kentucky Governor Paul and Judi Patton have exhibited throughout their careers. Patton Leadership Institute (PLI) is a regional leadership development program that covers eight eastern Kentucky counties. PLI builds cohorts of emerging leaders from throughout the region\, who have assumed leadership roles in their communities but may not hold established positions. \nParticipants in the program attend a two-day opening retreat and eight day-long sessions. The curriculum weaves together topics crucial to the development of community such as education\, economic development\, health care\, energy\, tourism\, and government. Key leadership skills are integrated into each session.\n \n\n\nProgram Tuition\n\n\n\n\n\nSoutheast Kentucky Chamber members receive members only pricing of $750 for tuition. Come join us October 13 at 5:00 at the Bob Amos Story Trail for a spooky and fun walk\, as you read “Mouse’s First Halloween” by Lauren Thompson.\nWhen you reach the end of the trail\, a fun Halloween craft awaits! Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes! No registration required.\nWhat is the Bob Amos Story Trail?\nThe Story Trail is a quarter mile\, handicapped accessible paved trail located at Bob Amos Park between the Overlook Events Center and Muddy Boots horse stable. Along the trail are posts that contain pages of a story book that change regularly\, so families can read a story as they walk the trail.\nWhere is the Story Trail?\nTo easily find the Story Trail\, enter the Overlook Events Center into your GPS (891 Bob Amos Dr Pikeville\, KY). The trail is on the road to the Events Center\, just before you come to their parking lot. Look for our sign on the right!
