DESCRIPTION:Story Time is for children ages 5 and under and features books\, action/movement\, songs\, and a craft. Story Time is held Thursdays at 11:00 and 2:00 and Saturdays at 11:00. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBesides being fun\, Story Time also helps develop early literacy and school readiness skills through reading\, singing\, listening\, playing\, and social interaction. This program lasts approximately 30 minutes\, and caregivers and children are encouraged to linger in the library afterwards to further socialize and choose books to take home. \n  \nStory Time begins the first week of September and ends the first week of May.

In this six-week Saturday course\, you’ll learn how to build theatre from the ground up using improvisation\, physical exploration\, storytelling\, and ensemble techniques. No prior experience with devising is needed: you’ll gain practical acting skills such as presence\, imagination\, adaptability\, and embodied expression while contributing to the creation of a brand-new piece. The course culminates in a final showing of the work developed together\, giving you hands-on experience in the creative process from first spark to performance.
