While Mr. Autry’s singin’ Rudolph on every radio station from now till Christmas\, E.B.’s goin’ on a tirade against anyone singin’ holiday cheer– that includes his niece Freddie and her band with the Cratchits! They’ve got themselves a festive new diddy\, but Scrooge erupts at the thought of holiday hogwash on his show. As Freddie and the Cratchits resign themselves to E.B.’s ultimatum\, their grouchy boss settles in for a solitary Christmas Eve. As night falls and the air turns cold\, however\, E.B. ‘s bitterness is challenged when Jay Marley\, his long-dead friend and co-producer\, returns from the grave with a trio of haints to save the miser from himself.
