Traumas like car accidents can have a major impact on the blood supply\, and KBC is currently experiencing an increase in blood transfusions while donor turnout lags.\nJoin us July 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Fazoli’s Pikeville Blood Drive in Pikeville\, Kentucky.\nAppointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome. Make an appointment by visiting: bit.ly/FazolisPikevilleDrive\nAll donors at this KBC drive will receive a limited-edition\n“Give Local” T-shirt (while supplies last) as a thank you for donating.\nDonors will also receive a $10 gift card to Fazoli’s (while supplies last)!\nBlood transfusions are used for everything from cancer treatments to premature births\, surgeries\, anemia\, diseases\, car accidents and more. Without a healthy blood supply\, local patients are at risk.
