Carver will lead a reading and discussion of his new novel, Tore All to Pieces, which is set in a fictional town not too far from Pikeville.

Tore All to Pieces is the Pikeville Creative Community Book Club pick for June 2026.

Expect to hear from Carver about the beauty and nuance of our shared Appalachian experiences. There will also be a chance to hear from other local authors and writers as well as several local organizations working together to honor and share the stories of our communities.

This evening of community storytelling is open to all.
